Welcome to Beach Reads for Goth Kids. All summer long, I’m sending out short stories that pack a haunting punch: creatures of the week, heatwave madness, and vacation nightmares. These will be sticky stories with summery themes, best consumed with a tiny paper umbrella.
Wow , great sort, what a dreadful power to have your anger come alive unwillingly and without control , that’s pure horror!!! Great writing, your imagination is boundless !!
You absolutely nailed this one. The smell of the cast coming off, that seemingly indelible feeling of regret after lashing out; wow. Haunting. This will stick with me for a while. Maybe there’s an after school special here 😉
Oh, poor Parker! And Caleb, of course. But to have your anger strike out like that, out of your control, and to live with it afterward…well, it happens, doesn’t it? Great story!
Haunting as ever!
Swallow that anger! What could go wrong with that! haha Love it.
i can handle no more of the interior brain to actual life events connection
